FIRST D&D NIGHT OF THE GUILD!!

Hey Everyone!!, So the first D&D Night is gonna be at my house ^-^

Date: 16th-17th September.

Bring any D&D Related stuff you like (since the D&D stuff I have isn't the proper one ^^; )
Also, bring Like a sleeping bag or something, just encase ^-^

Food is allowed of course so bring if you want. smoking is to be done outdoors, we shall provide umbrella If it rains

Erm, as of getting here, were meeting at the bus station after you've all done collage (5PM-ish?) on friday (16th) and getting the 291 or 290 bus to Methlick and then at Methlick my mum'll pick us up.

but yeah, we don't need a tent cause there should be enough room indoors =] just bring sleeping stuff =]

and yeah, you can bring like GC or wii games if you like, we have full guitar hero but missing 1 wii remote (we has 3) and DVD, all just encase we randomly decide to stop/postpone D&D at any point ^^

I can bring a fair few sets of DVDs, and all I have drink-wise is Calsberg beer, which I'm not so much into. Why is it that nowhere sells Fosters at a price I can afford?! D8

Should I bring my Xbox? Or just some controllers? Because I'll be bringing plenty of games.

Also; I plan on bringing things like a bath towel and shampoo, (Just incase I do need a shower or something), that sit fine with you Phillip?

I have digital copies of the soundtracks from Lord of the Rings Online and Temple of Elemental Evil, and could burn a couple of CDs in case they're wanted/needed.

I don't have an Xbox or a ps3.. or an HD Tv pahaha, i suck xD ... but tbh i thought we'd mostly be on D&D so i doubt we'd really have time for xBox , but you can bring like laptops and stuff for whatever, I've got speakers you can plug them into for like soundtracks and all that jazz too ^^

Tbh, I'm not really fussy of what you bring ^^; ... We have internet, a Wii, general house facilities haha, whatever you bring is up to you ^w^

xD, It's not impossible, best thing would be staying in our characters through everything, like even if we stop for guitar hero or watch a DVD xD muahaha

Just to notify, we will be using the 4th edition materials, all 10GB of them, and for anyone needing help with creating a character, there will be a Character Creator programme avalible to speed it up.

I've never DM'ed 4th ed. Could be interesting XD
I still have my 2004 3rd ed set haha.

was trying to figure out what kind of race/class to play last night when, with help from Lapster, I stumbled upon the wiki for D&D. Turns out there's a heap of "Homebrew" classes and races. For example a "Shinigami" class. As such I'm calling it now, I will play a Gnome Shinigami.

Well its a little off topic but since Alec brought it up here I'l ask a question I've been meaning to, are homebrew races / classes etc allowed (Ie can I roll a Pixie Witch) or are we sticking to the "standard" stuff as it were?

Erm, as long as there are enough rules to cover homebrew content I don't seeb why we shouldn't use it.
Could be a case to case basis - we don't want a shinigami who has a "kill all" spell or something overpowered like that XD

I guess they are allowed ... A Shinigami class just sounds amazing ^0^
